Firearms Shipping Policy
Overview
KB Armory complies with all federal, state, and local laws governing the sale and shipment of firearms, ammunition, and related products. All customers must follow these laws when purchasing items that require regulated transfer or age verification.
Firearms Shipping Requirements
1. Shipments to FFL Dealers Only
All firearms must be shipped directly to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder. Firearms cannot be shipped to a customer’s home or business address unless the customer holds a valid FFL.
Before shipping, the receiving FFL must provide a valid and up-to-date copy of their license to KB Armory.
2. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing a valid FFL
- Confirming transfer fees with their chosen FFL
- Ensuring they are legally eligible to possess a firearm
- Complying with all state and local laws, including waiting periods, permits, magazine capacity restrictions, and age requirements
Orders will not ship until all required documentation is received and verified.
3. Ammunition Shipments
Ammunition must follow federal and state regulations. In most states ammunition ships directly to the customer’s address; however, some states require:
- Shipment to an FFL
- Proof of age
- Firearm owner ID card (e.g., Illinois FOID)
- Additional local permits
The customer is responsible for knowing their local requirements before ordering.
4. Order Processing & Shipping Times
Most orders ship within 2–5 business days after FFL verification. Peak periods, compliance checks, or carrier delays may extend this timeframe.
Tracking information will be provided once the order has shipped.
5. Adult Signature Required
All firearm and ammunition shipments require an Adult Signature (21+) upon delivery. Carriers will not leave packages unattended.
6. Shipping Restrictions
KB Armory does not ship firearms, ammunition, or restricted accessories to locations where prohibited by law. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Certain states and cities with product restrictions
- PO Boxes
- International addresses
If an order cannot be fulfilled due to legal restrictions, you will be contacted with options.
7. Returns & Refusals
Firearms cannot be returned once transferred to the customer by the receiving FFL. If a firearm is refused or returned prior to transfer, the customer may be responsible for:
- Return shipping
- Restocking fees
- Any transfer fees charged by the receiving FFL
Ammunition and hazardous materials are non-returnable due to safety regulations.
8. Compliance
KB Armory strictly follows all ATF, Illinois, and federal laws. Any suspicious or fraudulent activity may result in order cancellation and notification to the appropriate authorities.
